Cookie Frosting Tips & Hacks

  1. Use a large piping bag (20oz plus) so you don’t have to stop frosting and refill it multiple times.
  2. Use a medium sized Round Hole Piping Nozzle to achieve the thick swirl.
  3. If you’re using a coupler, assemble it first. A coupler is a two-part plastic piece that allows you to easily change nozzles without emptying the bag. Insert the base part into the piping bag from the inside, pushing it through the tip opening.
  4. Cut off the tip of the bag. The hole should be just large enough to accommodate the narrowest part of the nozzle.
  5. Frost your Cinnamon Sweet Potato Pie Cookies Recipe!

Do You Have To Poke Holes In Sweet Potato To Bake Them?

Poking holes in sweet potatoes before baking them is generally a good idea, especially if you plan to bake them whole in the oven or microwave. This allows steam to escape during the baking process. Which prevents the sweet potatoes from building up internal pressure, which can lead to them bursting or exploding.
