When making the strawberry glaze the amount of milk you need to add in will depend on how juicy your strawberries are. Some may be dryer than others so combine the ingredients slowly while testing the consistency.

Make sure to line your cookie sheet with parchment paper before placing cookie dough on top. Then it is important to chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. It’s equally important to freeze the cheesecake balls otherwise it may over cook in the oven. Furthermore it’s nearly impossible to wrap the cookie dough around the cheesecake balls when they’re not fully hardened.

  1. Combine the box cake mix, egg, and oil and mix in your stand mixer on medium for 2-3 minutes

Storage Hacks & Tricks For Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix cookies

Before storing the cookies, ensure they have completely cooled down. Placing warm cookies in a container or bag can create condensation, which may lead to moisture and potential sogginess. Then place them in a sealed tight container, plastic wrap, or large ziplock bags.

If you are stacking multiple layers of cookies, place a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper between each layer to prevent sticking and damage to their shape. You can store them at room temperature for 2 days max.

Otherwise store your Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Cake Mix Cookies recipe in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
