Recipe Tips For Butterfinger Candy Rudolph Reindeers With Pretzels

  1. Chill the Butterfingers ahead of time so the chocolate coating is hard and firm. You don’t want it melting when you’re making your Rudolph Christmas Treats!
  2. You want the frosting that you use to make the Reindeer With Pretzels to be room temperature or slightly cooler. Most importantly it shouldn’t be too warm – otherwise the pretzels won’t hold up and they’ll fall right off.
  3. When arranging the face of the Butterfinger Holiday Candy – you can draw the features with Royal icing (cooking icing) if you don’t have eyeball candies.

  2. Open the candy, place on parchment paper with the flatter side facing down
  3. Squeeze 3 blobs of frosting onto the candy starting at the top lengthwise
  4. The topmost blob should be a bit bigger than the other two because it’s needed to hold the pretzel which is heavier than the other items
  5. Press the pretzel down onto the largest blob of frosting with the larger twisties facing up like antlers
  6. Press two eyeballs on the blob directly under the pretzel
  7. And the last blob should be closer to the bottom of the candy – press a red M&M onto that blob for the red nose
